Ras Ajai

Ras Ajai, Ajai – meaning conqueror or saviour in the Arabic tongue – is the name chosen by Brian Todd Antonio Sean Boucher. Born the fifteenth of June nineteen eighty three at the Spanish town hospital, Ajai was adopted by pastor Brown and his wife when he was just five months. In 2011 Gisto made his first journey to the Fatherland of Reggae Music: Jamaica. He arrived with no hotel, no contacts and no idea what he would find there – just a desire to connect with the music and culture that influenced his life. Within about two weeks on the island, Gisto went from a stranger to a recognised musical personality on Jamaican television. Upon arrival his first step was to catch a taxi. Dub Akom provides services for artists of various styles from roots reggae to dancehall, whilst bringing together all sectors of Jamaican music. Starting as a Dub formula, the band quickly linked with international artists and then began to acquire a serious name in Europe as a backing band.
