He’s definitely come a long way, from sacred Christian music to predominately Rastafarian reggae music. What triggered his interest in the genre Pop Reggae and Dancehall was the positivity of Bob Marley’s message and the mellow mood arising from his music. With mentors such as Beres Hammond, Boys 2 Men and Nsync, he’s developed an acute taste for different styles. His very smooth, soft way of singing, probably his most important feature manages to convey a mood. Tied to different kinds of beats it offers an interesting array of music.

Smoodface describes his biggest hurdle as having his musical talents discovered by fans and break into the mainstream music scene, as there are so many artistes out there with their own Unique sound. It has given him that risqué approach to take on project of all kinds and working with numerous artistes within the industry and never loosing that Smoodface trademark of versatility.

Smoodface announced he would be starting his own record label, Glendevon Records, which would serve to produce instrumentals for him and promote him as an artiste. And his EP title That’s What I Like, a well put together 7 tracks EP with a surprisingly varied set, comprising mostly new pop reggae in the one drop style, along with a couple of rougher-edged tracks in full-on dancehall mode.

When he wants a break he tries to fulljoy a game of soccer, cricket or read a book of any nature. Apart from that, he spends a great deal of time partying with his fans. Smoodface an artiste with many talent, constantly changing and improving.
