About Pauzeradio

Pauzeradio is an independent music platform rooted in Reggae, Roots and Dub, built around radio, artists, music discovery and independent culture.

The website launched in 2009 as the permanent home and archive of Gav Pauze’s Unique Reggae Mix Show, first established in 2006. Over the years, the show was broadcast on stations internationally and reached listeners in more than 150 countries and territories.

While the show is no longer syndicated across the international stations it once appeared on, since 2022 the Unique Reggae Mix Show has aired on Genesis Radio Birmingham, the only station outside Pauzeradio currently authorised to broadcast the programme.

Today, the Unique Reggae Mix Show archive remains at the heart of Pauzeradio, alongside a growing Radio Shows section featuring other programmes across Reggae, Roots, Dub, and with plans to expand into Jungle, Drum & Bass and other conscious music.

Beyond radio, Pauzeradio continues to grow its artist biography section, Reggae news, reviews, interviews, press releases and free downloads, creating a wider platform for discovering and documenting the music and people behind it.

The latest version of Pauzeradio marks a new chapter. The vinyl shop has been removed from the website, allowing the platform to focus fully on radio, artists and music content.

The new site also introduces advertising opportunities across selected pages and a dedicated events advertising section, giving artists, promoters, labels, events and relevant businesses new ways to reach the Pauzeradio audience.
