Read or Listen: Your Choice
Pauzeradio has always been about sharing reggae music, artist stories and independent journalism with audiences around the world. With the launch of our new website, we've introduced another way for people to enjoy our content. Every article on Pauzeradio can now be read or listened to, giving you the freedom to choose how you experience it.
Whether you're discovering an artist's background, learning about a new album or reading an exclusive interview, you no longer need to sit in front of a screen to enjoy what we've published. Our new listening feature makes it possible to experience the same articles in audio format, directly from the page.
Read or Listen - Your Choice
Using the feature couldn't be simpler. At the top right of every articles text content, you'll find a black LISTEN button. Pressing it allows you to hear the written content spoken aloud, it's as easy as that.
The feature is available across Pauzeradio's editorial sections, including artist biographies, interviews, album and single reviews, reggae news and other written features. Whether it's a short news story or an in-depth interview, the option is there whenever you want it.
The audio provides another way to experience the information we've published, rather than a shortened summary or a separate piece of content. You can still read the written article whenever you want to check a particular detail, revisit an artist's story or explore something that caught your attention while listening.
There are plenty of occasions when listening might be more convenient than reading. You could be relaxing at home, working on something else or simply taking a break from looking at a screen. Having an audio option means you can still enjoy the stories behind the music without needing to read every word.
Better Accessibility
Not everyone finds reading long articles easy or comfortable. For visitors with visual impairments, reading difficulties or those who simply prefer listening, having an alternative way to experience our written content can make a real difference.
Accessibility is about offering people choices, and this is one way we're working to make Pauzeradio more welcoming to a wider audience. The articles themselves haven't changed, but visitors now have greater flexibility in how they engage with them.
It's particularly useful for our longer artist biographies and exclusive interviews, where there's often much more to discover beyond an artist's latest release. These stories deserve to be explored, whether that's through reading or listening.
The Pauzeradio Experience
Since Pauzeradio began in 2009, our focus has been on supporting reggae artists, promoting their music and sharing their stories with listeners and readers worldwide. As the platform has evolved, we've continued looking for ways to improve how that content is presented.
Radio and storytelling have always been closely connected, particularly within reggae, where the experiences of artists and the messages behind their music are an important part of what makes the genre special. Bringing spoken audio to our written articles feels like a natural extension of Pauzeradio's history, connecting our broadcasting roots with the editorial work we produce today.
Our rebuilt website brings together artist biographies, interviews, reviews, reggae news, radio shows and much more. The new listening feature is another part of that development, making our growing collection of reggae journalism easier to enjoy in different ways.
Next time you're exploring Pauzeradio, look for the black LISTEN button at the top right of an articles written content, and give it a try. Whether you prefer reading every word or hearing the story spoken aloud, the choice is yours.
Read it your way. Listen when you want. The stories are yours to discover.
