Eek-A-Mouse

Eek-A-Mouse (born Ripton Joseph Hylton, November 19, 1957, Kingston, Jamaica) is a Jamaican reggae musician. He is one of the early artists to be described as a “singjay”. Eek-A-Mouse began his music career when he was in college, releasing two roots reggae singles under his own name, which were produced by his mathematics tutor, Mr. Dehaney. These early works were influenced by the music of Pablo Moses.He then went on to work for various sound systems over the next few years and also released a few more singles. Dubtonic Kru

The founding members of Dubtonic Kru are Deleon “Jubba” White and Strickland “Stone” Stone, a dynamic Drum & Bass duo who, over the years have contributed to the development of modern roots reggae. Imagine heavy baselines, one drops, psychedelic guitar riffs, echoing keyboards, popping percussion and conscious lyrics. Now imagine roots reggae, imagine dub, rock… Put them all together and you get a new breed of Jamaican music called DubTonic Kru Like their style of music, Dubtonic is a mixture of two words “DUB”, relating to the heavy drum and bass aspect of reggae music and “TONIC”, referring to medicine.

Duane Stephenson

VP Records introduces singer/songwriter Duane Stephenson, former lead singer of To-Isis. The Kingston native and August Town raised culture sensation enters the roots realm with blissful poignant vocals and carefully crafted melodies on his debut album From August Town, produced by the legendary Dean Frasier. Stephenson beautifully portrays of love, culture and spirituality throughout his first release. DJ Pauze aka Gav Pauze Biography: DJ Pauze otherwise known as Gav Pauze started playing Jungle/Drum & Bass in 1995, playing clubs in England and Scotland. He studied music at Clarendon College (Midlands) in 1998 where he became a qualified audio engineer. His passion and drive for music was clear and the works progressed to playing Reggae on the radio featuring strictly positive, uplifting Reggae Roots and Dub with the “Unique Reggae Mix Show” based in London, UK in 2006. The popularity of the radio show grew and started featuring on stations in the USA from 2007, Germany & Philippines

Denno, born Denrick Alando Pinnock was born in Halse Hall Clarendon on April 28. Denno’s exposure to music came at an early age while hanging out with his father who owns a popular sound system name Killer Vicious, and as such was exposed to a variety of music across all genres. At age 8 he was given the mike at a local stage show where he proceeded to “mash up the place” with his energetic rendition of “Good Nutrition & Education.” Singer/Songwriter Denno is currently sign to Master One Production, where he has previously worked with Earth Production Promotional label.
