Gappy Ranks

Gappy Ranks born and grown in Harlesden NW10. Father Jamaican, Mother Dominican, a good combination like Rice & Peas. Early support and recognition of this rising young talent, who had made his studio debut with the Ruff Cutt band at age 11, came from local sound system operators and pirate radio stations and soon led to his link up and studio baptism with Stonebridge stars Suncycle Crew. The embers were soon burning and the young artist next landed a series of killer link ups with the likes of Kray Twinz, Twista and MC Lethal B. It was his initial hit

Fyakin

If music can ever be described to have an element of “refined rawness” then you have aptly described Fyakin’s music. A young talent to rise out of Portmore, Fyakin is here to claim his piece of the pie with his honest lyrics and signature delivery. Christened Nicholas Levy, he was born in St Andrew, Jamaica in 1988. Many persons have been pleasantly surprised after listening to his music as he sounds like a “seasoned Reggae veteran”. He realised at an early age that ‘writing and chanting’ was his destiny. He gratefully credits all he has accomplished to the positivity imparted

Fiona

Fiona was born in Jubilee hospital, Kingston, Jamaica on a cold Wednesday morning. As an

Fantan Mojah

“Fantan Mojah’s mission is to ensure that the world always remembers to “Hail The King” from giving thanks for the break of a new dawn to the celebration of the sunset …” – Balford Henry The release of the “Hail The King” album heralds the international arrival of a major new talent in Jamaican music but, on the strength of his achievements so far, Fantan Mojah already deserves his rightful place in that illustrious roll call of culturally inspired, and inspiring, Jamaican artists running from Count Ossie through Bob Marley, Burning Spear to Garnet Silk and Luciano on to Buju

Eloquent

R.I.P Eloquent. It is not the norm to meet a Reggae/Dancehall artiste today who quickly credits God for being their motivator. But maybe this is just the tip of the iceberg as to why a singjay simply known as, Eloquent is not your typical artiste. “God motivates me. Sometimes when I’m on the streets, a song will just pop up in my head and I know it’s God,” comments a calm-spirited but confident Eloquent. “I want to make positive music that uplifts the world.” Signed to Yellow Moon Records, owned and operated by Irie FM’s DJ Sunshine, Eloquent is already
