Chezidek was Born Desbert Johnson in a little town call St-Anns Bay in ST Ann Jamaica, place that gave birth to the Honourable Marcus Garvey, Bob Marley, Burning Spears and many more…

Chezidek started his early career singing at school concerts and on sound system in his community.

After 8 good albums like Inna the road (Greensleeves), Harvest time and Rising sun (VP), Firm Up yourself (No doubt records), Mash dem down (Altafaan) I-grade (Sly&robby) Herbalist (Tads records) and a brand new one Judgment time (Jahsolid Rock) which is doing very good in Europe (one of the best selling reggae album).

Chezidek reaffirms that he is one of the best singer and songwriter of his generation.

Since getting a break on the Jamaica music scene in 2004 with his environment hit song”leave the trees” which went number one on charts in Jamaica and other places and later “Inna the road” “Call pon dem” “burn the ganja ”
