Gav Pauze is a qualified audio engineer and has over 15 years experience of mastering DJ mixes and podcasts, mainly with his own radio show, examples of his show can be heard here: Unique Reggae Mix Show (Mastered in the PauzeRadio studio)

 

In 2019 Gav Pauze became renowned for his work with up and coming music broadcaster Steve Topple of The Canary UK. ‘Mr Topple’ one of the most prolific and innovative music journalists in the industry, with his unique “Topple Uncaged” podcast.

 

Each show was mastered in PauzeRadio’s custom-built studio. Gav Pauze, using his intuitive ear for music but also attention to quality and detail ensured that each Topple Uncaged episode was of the highest quality. Sampling innovative techniques often reserved for music production, Gav has been responsible for the final cut of episodes featuring global icons such as Protojé, Micah Shemaiah, Jemere Morgan, Lutan Fyah, Tarrus Riley, Third World, Kabaka Pyramid, Mortimer, Zia Benjamin, Clinton Fearon, Kumar Bent, Sevana, Busy Signal, Yellowman and over 70 others.

 

He has also worked with DJ Amai (upcoming British Nigerian multi-genre female DJ) mastering her radio show that is broadcast on Plus1 radio and other mixes she releases for public consumption.
