Zion Train – Fire Riddim – Review

Zion Train is a UK Roots Dub group that have been established for over 25 years. The group also lend their skills to sound system and writing and producing and have many albums in their vaults. And now in 2015 along with Universal Egg and Deep Root they bring you the greatly uplifting ‘Fire Riddim’

On this riddim we are treated to four tracks of great quality, firstly we have the wonderful ‘Jah 9’ with the herb tune ‘Fire’ defending the importance of marijuana and its medical and spiritual abilities.

Then we have ‘Micah Shemaiah‘ and ‘Rasta Live’ a tune livecating the almighty and keeping firm to his majesty. Up next is another great female artist ‘Sis Awa’ and ‘I n I Shall Rise’ a great song telling us hold firm and keep rising.

And the last cut on the riddim, but certainly not the least is the son of ‘Augustus Pablo’ Rockers international, ‘Addis Pablo’ and the melodica fuelled ‘Far East Rasta’.

Altogether a really great riddim that is sure to keep you skanking for years to come.
