Unknown Souljahs The Dread Essentials is the first collaboration by Sick Donkey Records recording artist Essential I with Sebastian Thunder & Alin Dread. Linking the American singer with two german producers this project is a tribute to the fact that conscious Roots Reggae is alive and well around the world.

Essential I is an up & coming artist from north central Washington state’s Okanogan County. As co-founder and a member of Sick Donkey Records, he has been recording and performing in the Northwestern United States for several years and making an impact everywhere as he stomps down babylon with word, sound & power. Essential I has recently released the single and video for this song “Rastafari Is King” featuring Turbulence. Be on the look out for the sophomore album by Essential I entitled “Souljah Salute” to drop this year. With a strong mix of Roots Reggae and Dancehall the Souljah Salute will feature guest appearances by Anthony B, Turbulence, Winstrong and others. This high quality reggae album is “essential” for all reggae lovers worldwide and had been gaining great feedback from music lovers and radio disc jockeys from all part of the globe.
