Sultry soulful singer Tiana dreams to uplift, connect and inspire people around the world through the power of music.

Born Tiana Love-Richards in Oahu, an island in the mid-Pacific, part of the Hawaiian island chain, Tiana’s musical path became embedded in her soul when as a young child her music formation began as she uplifted and mesmerised Church goers. From a tender age, Tiana discovered the joy that music not only brought to her soul, but also touched those around her, she realised that the power of music and words could touch the soul.

Influenced by such greats as Sade, Erykah Badu, Beres Hammond, Fela Kuti, Morgan Heritage, and Jill Scott, Tiana began to hone her craft by penning music while learning the guitar. ” I love to play the acoustic guitar when I am in the creative process writing or coming up with new melodies”. Although strongly shaped by stirring R&B voices, Tiana’s first love and foundation was Reggae music as her home was filled with the sounds of roots, reggae and lover’s rock and It was at her first performance at age 17, singing backing vocals for a local Hawaiian Reggae artist that the star was born. “Reggae has a philosophy, It’s not just entertainment, it’s a way of life behind the music.”

Writing and recording background vocals for numerous artists over the past few years, in 2014 Tiana took the stage in Las Vegas for her first performance as a solo artist supported by a local Reggae/ Soul band. Standing ovation and rave reviews resulted from that night.

Drawing from life joys and pains, Tiana’s distinctively smooth, mellow voice combined with profound music and prolific lyrics has captivated music lovers and a deal with a prominent label. The soulful songstress recently signed with CTBC Music Group (Cool To Be Conscious Music Group) spearheaded by members of Grammy award-winning Morgan Heritage, and is gearing up for the release of her debut single “Never Break Me”.
