The Upsetta Movement brings to you another chapter with its 5th release on our record label, Upsetta Records called The Pot A Cook riddim.

The Pot A Cook Riddim is an original reggae island vibe sound from out of Switzerland, cooked up by Flow Productions‘ Hugo Wolf, our long time collaborator.

The Pot A Cook riddim has a classic reggae bounce to it and a vibe that brings you inside the golden age of Jamaican music and makes you see why this little island swept up the whole world with it’s backbeat and lyrics. The riddim features up and coming artists along with seasoned veterans who all ride the riddim well and present their perspective on life, love and artistic expression. with a line up that features Mikey General, Zamunda, Fyakin, Senita Mogul, Cario Muzyk, Bobby Hustle and more, it should come as no surprise that this is sure to be a riddim kept in rotation for years to come.

This is a sweet, laid back roots reggae riddim with a bubbly warm edge, direct out of the Upsetta studio. Exciting times, their works just go from strength to strength with each project.

This brand new “Pot A Cook” riddim has a great selection of artists featured, including quality well structured songs from Mikey General with “Idle Bread” Fyakin blazing “Hard Road To Travel” and Zamunda’s “King Of Kings” really standing out. Great lyrics, Unique sounds, positive and real life subjects, refreshing to hear. Personally I like singers so this riddim really stands out as all the artists featured have kept their natural sound and no auto-tune at all, this is brilliant as it catches a great vibe for the entire project.

Winstrong singing “Call On Jah Name” resonates an uplifting and moving sound and Cairo Muzyk with “Life Affi Go On” firmly install us that they are certainly artists to look out for. All the songs are good and perfect for the Unique Reggae Mix Show, solid works.

Upsetta really are giving a solid riddim release here. A refreshing mix of artists on the riddim all adding their own contrast to the final product which is great quality. I know that this will be a firm favourite for all the reggae fans, lovers and roots listeners alike.
