Andi-Ites – Self Preservation – Press Release

Andi-Ites Self Preservation. Born Floyd Forrester, in May Pen Clarendon, Jamaica: Andi-Ites spent most of his childhood in Fire Lane (Water Lane) and then migrated to Florida where he attended Middle, High school and College.

Through-out his school years he participated in a dizzying array of extra-curricular activities, holding and confirming top positions in drama and talent competitions. His first professional recorded track was done in a Hip-Hop style, in collaboration with Miami/Fort Lauderdale based rapper Noyd-B. Andi-ites then created a group called “3rd Level” which took over the South Florida air waves, later he left the group to pursue a solo career.

Andi-ites has opened shows for veteran artists like Sizzla, Buju Banton, Beenie Man and many more internationally known Reggae artistes. He was also on Jamaica’s top stage show known as Campfire. Currently he is being courted by a variety of major labels and many people in the industry have been hailing him as one of the future powerful voices in Reggae music.

His latest EP is called “Self Preservation” and was released on 3rd March 2015, containing 6 powerful and unique Reggae songs, sung with passion and drive. Andi-Ites “Self Preservation” EP is an eclectic mix of positive Dancehall and Roots Reggae; including a combination featuring the consistent sounds of Lutan Fyah. Released by Ites Of Life Music, distributed by Zojak Worldwide and available on iTunes now.
